The administrators of ScoutsOnline.org are very aware that the nature of this website means that a significant number of our users are young people, and we try to provide as safe an environment as we can while still supporting the interaction that international Scouting promotes.

ScoutsOnline.org collects only the minimum amount of information necessary to ensure the safety of the website, and does not communicate directly with any registered user except in connection with the administration of the website. Because of this we believe that we are not required to obtain explict permission from parents or guardians of children before allowing them to register on this website. However, we do encourage children to seek permission before registering, and we will close or restrict a child's account on receipt of a verified request from the child's parent or guardian.
